404 Theory is a brand for the phase nobody names — the stretch between being a kid and being whatever an "adult" is supposed to be. No stable identity, no figured-out career, no clean answers. Just a lot of "why not."

We don't pretend to have it worked out either. Every theory we release — Between, Unbound, Transmission, Four — is a piece of that in-between feeling, hidden in the art rather than spelled out on the front of a shirt. Look closely and you'll find a 4 and a 0 tucked into every design. That's on purpose. Some things you have to look for.

We're not selling you a fixed identity. We're just here in the same in-between world, making things with you while we figure it out.

The hidden mark

Every 404 Theory piece hides a 4 and a 0 somewhere in the art. It's not always obvious — that's the point. Find it, or don't. The piece works either way.

QUESTIONS

What does "404 Theory" mean?+
404 as in "not found" — the phase between kid and adult that nobody quite names. Theory, because none of us actually have it figured out, we're just testing ideas.
What sizes do you offer?+
XS–XL, in an oversized, boxy, cropped-not-cropped fit. Full measurements are on every product page.
How does "Access" work?+
Access reserves your spot for a theory before the full drop goes live — no payment required. You get one free reveal without logging in. After that, log in to return and view the theory again during the access window.
Do I need an account to view a theory?+
You can reveal a theory once without logging in. After that first reveal, you must log in to view it again. Logged-in members can return and view it multiple times during the access window.
When does the actual drop happen?+
After all four theories in an arc have been revealed. Everyone who used Access gets early entry before it opens to everyone else.

Reserving Access does not obligate you to purchase. Orders are only confirmed once payment is completed at checkout.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 2–4 business days before dispatch.

Delivery timeframes

Domestic (India): 4–8 business days after dispatch, depending on location.

Return window

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

Condition

Items must be unused, unwashed, and with original tags attached.

How to start a return

Go to "Your Orders" once logged in, select the order, and choose "Request Return." Or email us at 404theory@mail.com with your order number.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Non-returnable items

Items marked as final sale or clearance are not eligible for return.
